Young Elected Leaders from Across America Speak to the Pain Being Felt in Their Communities in the Last 100 Days and Demand Real Leadership from Washington

Washington, DC – The Young Elected Officials Network (YEO) will hold a press conference coinciding with the end of President Trump’s first 100 days and launching YEO’s 20th Anniversary National Convening titled “Our Future, Our Fight.”  

For the last two decades, the Young Elected Officials Network has invested in the leadership of elected officials that look like America. Throughout its history and at every level of elected office, YEO members have changed the face of Americans’ lives. 

In a nation at a crossroads, where incredible challenges and vast opportunities intersect, the call for a new generation of future-focused American leadership has never been more urgent.  

On the 101st day of a new administration that will surely put values to the test, YEO’s will gather for the 2025 YEO National Convening to celebrate progress and recommit to YEO’s indispensable mission of helping the next generation of leaders defend democracy, advance justice, and secure freedom for everyone. 

On Wednesday, April 30, YEO Network leaders from across the country will address the media about the significance of the weekend’s gathering, the essential role young elected officials play in our nation’s civic life, and the agenda for action in the months and years ahead.
