PFAW's "We The People" Ad Says Stop Gorsuch

People For the American Way believes that opposing the Gorsuch nomination is essential to protecting our constitutional rights and values. On Wednesday, we made that clear in a new TV ad that urges senators to stand up for the Constitution and block Gorsuch’s confirmation.

PFAW's "We The People" ad has been covered by The New York Times:

The ad, which includes a clip of a judicially robed man ripping the Constitution, is set to appear for one week in a dozen states, according to the group, People for the American Way. These include several states — like North Dakota, West Virginia and Missouri — that Mr. Trump carried easily in last year’s election but that still have a Democratic senator.

It was also written up by US News & World Report:

In a 30-second ad – called "We the People" and posted online Thursday by the group – a female narrator warns viewers that President Donald Trump's pick to replace the late Justice Antonin Scalia is hostile to women's rights, friendly to Wall Street and beholden to "powerful interests."

As well as Bloomberg Politics:

“We’ll make sure the narrative makes clear he is out of the mainstream, is extreme and in many ways is to the right of Scalia,” said Marge Baker, executive vice president of People for the American Way.

It was also featured in The Philadelphia Inquirer – Pennsylvania is a top target state for the ad and the #StopGorsuch campaign.
