Demand Real Ethics Rules for Supreme Court Justices
Supreme Court justices hold enormous power over our rights, freedoms, democracy, and the future of the United States. But unlike lower federal judges, they are still not bound by a clear, enforceable code of ethics with real accountability.
That is unacceptable.
A voluntary code is not enough. The justices should not be left to police themselves when serious questions arise about conflicts of interest, gifts, financial disclosures, or recusals in cases before them.
Congress must act.
