WASHINGTON, D.C.— Following Democrat Joshua Cole's victory tonight in Virginia House District 28, PFAW Political Director and Director of PFAW's Latinos Vote! program Lizet Ocampo released the following statement:

"Joshua Cole won with a strong message about improving transportation, working toward economic justice and passing the Equal Rights Amendment. Josh is a dynamic young leader who represents the future of Virginia, and we're so proud to have supported him through PFAW’s Next Up Victory Fund. We look forward to seeing the great things he will accomplish in Richmond for the people in his district and for all Virginians."

About Latinos Vote!
PFAW’s Latinos Vote! program exposes and counters anti-immigrant, anti-Latino rhetoric and policies. Through electoral work, we hold groups, leaders and influencers accountable at the polls for the harm they do to immigrant and Latino communities.
