During a recent episode of The Truth And Liberty Show, right-wing anti-LGBTQ Christian nationalist Alex McFarland declared that "America should outlaw Islam."
The topic of discussion on the show was "The Threat To Liberty" allegedly posed by Islam and Sharia law, which host Andrew Wommack, a far-right anti-LGBTQ Christian nationalist evangelist, warned was spreading throughout the country due to immigration.
"It's strategic on their part," Wommack said. "They are coming with a strategy."
Wommack then cited the testimony of phony ex-Muslim terrorist Kamal Saleem to claim that Huma Abedin, who served as chief of staff to Hillary Clinton when she was Secretary of State, had been sent to America by the Muslim Brotherhood "to do cultural jihad."
"Kamal Saleem came over here to do ... cultural jihad," Wommack asserted. "He and Huma Abedin, who was Hillary Clinton's chief of staff, they both were sent here by the Muslim Brotherhood to do cultural jihad."
"They've been sending people like this," Wommack continued. "When you come to strategically overthrow this nation and to establish jihad—whether it's cultural or with weapons or whatever—we need to see that as an enemy."
"I really think that America should outlaw Islam," replied McFarland. "We cannot let these communities have Sharia law because Islam is not just a religious system; it's a political system, it's a legal system, it's a cultural system."
