Alex McFarland Says Restoring The Pride Flag At The Stonewall Memoria Is 'Treason'

Last month, the Trump administration released a memo laying out guidelines regarding what sorts of flags can be flown at cites operated by the National Park Service. Following the implementation of these guidelines, the Pride flag was removed from the National Stonewall Memorial in New York City, prompting Democrats to draft legislation to have it restored.

This is not sitting well with right-wing anti-LGBTQ Christian nationalist Alex McFarland, who accused the Democrats of committing "treason," which he is quite fond of accusing them of doing.

Appearing on "The Jenna Ellis In The Morning" program on Thursday, McFarland fumed that "the Pride flag is evil."

"The rainbow Pride flag connotes so many things that are wrong, that are immoral, and [Sen.] Chuck Schumer wanting to grant this the same equal legal status to the U.S. flag is treason," McFarland declared.

"Another subject we could roll out is why the Democrat Party in recent years has become treasonous and they are betraying the United States of America," he continued. "If you have one thimbleful of patriotism and appreciation for the USA in your soul, dear friends, then you should purpose in your mind right this minute that until your dying day you would never vote Democrat again. Because the idea to put the rainbow Pride—immoral, heinously, unspeakably vile, globalist wicked Pride flag—to put that on the same plane as the US flag, that is treason. And if you have one shred of appreciation for this country, you should say, 'That's it. It's game over. Never again would I vote for anything with a letter D beside of it.'
