Christian Nationalist Pastor Dale Partridge Tells Women 'All Of Your Being In Existence Should Be Within The Shadow Of Your Husband'

Dale Partridge

Far-right Christian nationalist pastor Dale Partridge is a vocal advocate of instituting biblical patriarchy in America who seeks, among other things, to deny women the right to vote

Partridge also believes that women should not be able to work, though he is willing to tolerate exceptions in certain circumstances, provided that the work they do models "feminine expressions of career."

"I don't believe that women are equally equipped for all jobs," Partridge said during a recent podcast. "If a woman says, 'My kids are grown, I've homeschooled them or educated them for 15 years and now I would like to teach kindergarten and 2nd grade at the local Christian private school,' I think that's a wonderful thing. And I think it's a very feminine act."

"Or if she wants to do mercy ministries or work that has to do with the care of others or hospice," he continued, "these are more feminine expressions of career."

Acknowledging that there might be exceptions in cases of financial necessity, Partridge insisted that, as a general rule, women should not be allowed to have careers because "all of your being in existence should be within the shadow of your husband."

"If you have children, especially young children, your job is to keep the home," Partridge declared. "Also your duty as a wife is to be helping your husband and so all of your help, all of your being in existence should be within the shadow of your husband."
