The White House on Thursday pulled Rep. Elise Stefanik’s nomination to be US ambassador to the United Nations amid concerns over slim margins in the US House of Representatives, keeping one of Trump’s most vocal allies in Congress.

Laura Loomer, the far-right commentator that President Donald Trump raised eyebrows by inviting to travel with him on the campaign trail last year, has not yet been able to convince members of Trump’s administration to let her sit in the White House briefing room’s “new media seat.”
