It's getting sad that at this point in Trump's presidency, MAGA cultists like Eric Metaxas are still bragging that "I don't think there is anybody who loves this president more than I do": "I believe God has appointed him for such a time as this."
Having once been considered a somewhat scholarly religious-right commentator and author, Metaxas became increasingly radical during the Obama administration and eventually developed into a full-blown conspiracy theorist during the Trump era. A die-hard Trump cultist, Metaxas’ message has grown increasingly dire with every passing election, as he warns incessantly that America is sliding into modern-day Nazism, thanks to the Democrats and the degenerates who vote for them.
