Christian nationalist Jason Rapert declares "I don't want LGBTQ activists in the Republican Party": "I do not want people active in our party who are against what God says is an [abomination] or what God says in his word."
A former Arkansas state legislator, Rapert launched the National Association of Christian Lawmakers in 2019. As its name suggested, the NACL is a Christian nationalist organization that seeks to “take authority” over every level of government and spread its worldview “across the nation.”
