The Christian nationalist conspiracy theory program "FlashPoint" held a live event in Fort Worth, Texas, last week timed to coincide with televangelist Kenneth Copeland's Southwest Believers' Convention.
FlashPoint, which originated as a program on Copeland's Victory Channel network in 2020 in order to rally conservative Christians to support the reelection campaign of President Donald Trump, has since become an independent entity under the ownership of its host, Gene Bailey. But Bailey and Copeland remain close, as demonstrated by the fact that Copeland was given the opening speaking slot during Friday night's event.
And remaining true to FlashPoint's mission of relentlessly providing spiritual support for Trump, Copeland opened the event by calling on angels to "pull those devils down that are attacking our president."
"Thank you, [Archangel] Michael, you are the guardian of this nation," Copeland declared. "Now pull those devils down that are attacking our president. Pull those devils down that have caused problems in presidents and Congress."
"Because of that knowledge, now at the midterms; whoa," he continued. "Now that we know where the attack is and we know where the victory is and we know it's right here in this book [the Bible,] praise God forevermore. And now we know who to talk to."
"[Archangel] Gabriel, you take the messages to the people," Copeland proclaimed. "Michael, you guard that president. You watch over him. I know you were watching over him when he [almost] got killed. You say [it was] God. Well, yeah, it was God, but it was that angel because he's responsible for him. When he became president of the United States, Michael was responsible for him, to watch over him, to take care of him. And now, glory to God, Father, we thank you, now we have the proper weapon. Now we can have a Flashpoint in the heavenlies!"
