From the moment President Donald Trump won the 2024 election, self-proclaimed Christian nationalist Lance Wallnau immediately began plotting, declaring on election night that he and his fellow Christian nationalists now had four years to align with the White House to strengthen the Christian church in the United States and abroad and put into place a plan to "seize the institutions of the federal government" and tear down spiritual "strongholds."
Shortly thereafter, Wallnau proclaimed that once Trump took office, "the government and the church" would begin "moving together to build the ekklesia" to take control of "the government mountain" globally. ("Ekklesia" is a term used by dominionists to refer to the church as God’s governing body on Earth.)
Wallnau then announced something he called The Nehemiah Project, which is committed to "partnering the prophetic collaboration of government and church and business together to take all the domains we can while we have the wind to our back."
Recently, Wallnau appeared on the "Encounter Today" podcast, where he declared that Trump has been raised up by God to dispatch "statesman evangelists" around the world on behalf of the United States to spread the Christian gospel and bring about a global revival.
"Jesus told me that Trump was going to be put back in office for the sake of the nations," Wallnau said. "I thought he was coming back just for making America great, but the Lord said, 'On no, his agenda is America, but for America's interest to be secured, there has to be a reordering of the of the global community.'"
"Trump will create a Pax Romana; a period of peace realigning nations," Wallnau declared. "He is raised up as God's instrument for the sake of the nations."
"Trump himself, I believe, is going to not only establish America's trade relationships with these nations, but there will come a point where the statesman evangelists are going to come along," he continued. "Nations are going to start to open up to the movement of reformation happening here."
"It's a movement toward Judeo-Christian values," Wallnau proclaimed. "Trump is the catalyst of the global reformation happening."
Wallnau said that with Trump's backing, "statesman evangelists" such as himself will be able to travel the world holding Christian revival meetings that will save entire nations in preparation for "the great End Time harvest."
"When I go to these rulers," Wallnau said, "what I'm telling them is if you want what we have in America—a period of domestic peace, strong popularity with your people, and prosperity—you need to do what Trump is doing. Trump is saying we need to get religion; he's really saying we need Christianity, he just knows enough not to hit that trigger. You need to have evangelism in your country so that your people develop a healthy patriotism, a respect for authority, a godly orientation against anarchy and against viciousness, violence, and protest and terror. Christianity will cause that faith to come into your people. It'll stabilize your administration. It'll produce a conscience so that people won't be committing crime, and it will produce thrift, industry, and prosperity to lift you economically. We want to do business with you in the United States and I'm here to represent the United States."
"I can fill an arena," Wallnau added. "I'll set it up with these heads of state to send the statesmen evangelists to the nations for the great End Time harvest."
Wallnau is associated with the New Apostolic Reformation, a religious movement that promotes Seven Mountains Dominionism, a political ideology which holds that the right kind of Christians must take dominion over every sphere of influence in society. Wallnau worked with MAGA organizations like the America First Policy Institute to combine religious revivalism and political organizing on his pro-Trump “Courage Tour” in 2024.
