Attendees of the Family Research Council’s Values Voter Summit this year received a booklet inside their swag bags in which the organization declares numerous victories and boasts its newfound influence since President Trump took was sworn into office earlier this year.

One passage of the “Impact Report” booklet expresses the organizations delight at the appointment of Supreme Court Justice Neil Gorsuch, stating that “abortion regulation and religious liberty cases coming before the Supreme Court” mean that Gorsuch “could not have come at a better time." FRC president Tony Perkins, the booklet states, “had the privilege of being at the White House when Gorsuch was nominated.”

The booklet also boasts that former FRC staff members Teresa Wagner Manning, Charmaine Yoest and Shannon Royce have been “placed in top positions” at the Department of Health and Human Services, where they will “continue fighting for the health and life of you and all Americans, including women and the unborn.”  The organization also notes that FRC fellow Ken Blackwell was appointed to work on Trump’s sham Presidential Commission on Election Integrity, which is designed to prove the president’s demonstrably false claims that there was widespread voter fraud on behalf of Hillary Clinton in the 2016 election. The organization thanked God for allowing their staff to have roles in “the top tiers of our government.”

The FRC also takes partial credit for Trump’s rollback of the military’s acceptance of transgender people into its ranks, saying that Perkins “was privileged to help draft the final GOP platform last year in Cleveland, which was crystal clear on rebuilding the military” without transgender people in it.

Near the end of the booklet, the FRC says it is “thankful” for the Trump administration’s “concern for religious freedom” and claimed further credit for “several pro-life victories” that have come out of the Trump administration. The victories FRC cites include Trump reinstating the Mexico City Policy and the passage of the No Taxpayer Funding for Abortion Act in the House of Representatives, which prevents organizations that perform or promote abortion procedures from receiving government funding, such as Planned Parenthood.
