  • The key thing to know about David Barton is not just that he spreads Christian nationalist disinformation, but that he keeps spreading it even after it's been debunked. Back in 2022, Right Wing Watch exposed his false claim that public schools in New Jersey used to require students to memorize the Bible, yet it remains a standard part of his presentations.
  • "Apostle" Ché Ahn takes credit for issuing an "apostolic decree" that resulted in the removal of California Gov. Gray Davis in 2003.
  • Christian nationalist Doug Wilson says that Thanksgiving is a "national holiday thanking God for this white privilege": "We should thank God for the white privilege we know about and include in the prayer all the white privilege we don't know about."
  • Now that his Twitter account has been restored, white nationalist Nick Fuentes declares himself to be "the unofficial leader of the right-wing in America" and boasts that his followers are "going to take over the entire right wing."
  • Religious-right publisher, podcaster, and commentator Stephen Strang urges Christians to pray for former President Donald Trump during the Stormy Daniels hush money trial, assuring his audience that "[Trump] told me personally that he had not done anything with Stormy Daniels."
  • Finally, former Trump administration official Cliff Sims tells Christians that they must vote Republican because the GOP is the only party that allows for "the true pursuit of happiness ... which starts with a relationship with the living God."

Despite having obtained only a Bachelor of Arts degree from Oral Roberts University in the 1970s, David Barton now routinely bills himself as “America’s premier historian” and has established a reputation as the Religious Right’s go-to “expert” for making the case that the Founding Fathers intended to establish America to be a Christian nation that operates according to the laws of God as set out in the Bible.

Che Ahn

California-based pastor Ché Ahn is a leader in the dominionist New Apostolic Reformation movement and a MAGA political activist. On the eve of the Jan. 6, 2021 insurrection, Ahn told a pro-Trump rally that "we’re gonna rule and reign through President Trump and under the lordship of Jesus Christ.” Ahn is running for Governor of California in 2025.

Dropping out of college after one year following his participation in the deadly white nationalist “Unite The Right” rally in Charlottesville, VA, in 2017, Fuentes launched a career as a racist, antisemitic, misogynistic far-right activist and livestreamer.
Douglas Wilson

Doug Wilson

Doug Wilson is a far-right Christian nationalist pastor and political activist. Notorious for publishing a book downplaying the evils of slavery, Wilson promotes extreme political positions: he opposes women having the right to vote, believes that non-Christians should not be allowed to hold public office or worship in public, and wants to see the Apostles’ Creed incorporated into the U.S. Constitution. Wilson is based in Idaho and exerts nationwide influence through his publishing house Canon Press, the Communion of Reformed Evangelical Churches, and a network of “classical Christian” schools. In 2025, Wilson planted a church in Washington, D.C. to bring Christians working for the Trump administration into alignment with his worldview.
