The Protocol Of Heaven: How Lou Engle Got On Stage At The Trump Administration's 'Rededication' Prayer Rally

Lou Engle and Dutch Sheets Praying At The Redication Prayer Rally

Despite the fact that President Donald Trump couldn't be bothered to attend his own administration's National Jubilee of Prayer, Praise & Thanksgiving gathering on the National Mall earlier this month, self-proclaimed "intercessor" Lou Engle remains convinced that the event marked a momentous occasion in the nation's spiritual history.

After rally organizers recycled a pre-recorded video from Trump—while Trump himself went golfing—Engle rapturously declared from the stage that Trump's video message represented a "hinge of history" that "opened the door for the greatest awakening this nation has ever seen."

During a recent appearance on the Elijah Streams program, Engle, a fervent dominionist associated with the New Apostolic Reformation, revealed how he came to be on stage at the event, which was indeed rather surprising given his rather radical history.

"Here's what happened," Engle said. "There's a man, Herman Martir, that's in the inside of DC, and he's been at all The Calls and he said to the organizers, 'You need to have Lou Engel come. He's done these solemn assemblies.'"

"I was invited into the White House and half-hour meeting became two hours," he continued. "Vince Haley, he's the Director of Domestic Policies; in the inside circle. He loves Jesus. His wife's been following me, loving God since she was 19. And I talked with a gal named Brittany [Baldwin], and they just said, 'How would you counsel us?' And I said, 'If President Trump reads what he read—"If my people" and that whole scripture—on the Mall, you need to allow me to come and actually get the people on their faces and in a moment humble themselves and pray. And then bring [House Speaker] Mike Johnson. This is the protocol of Heaven.' And they honored me."

Engle claimed that the remarks he and "apostle" Dutch Sheets delivered that day "honored God" and "really touched Heaven."

"I'm so grateful that President Trump," Engle gushed. "Abraham Lincoln called a day of prayer and fasting, but I don't think there's been one president that called a gathering like Josiah, like Jehoshaphat. And if the president calls it and the people respond, I believe we could be in the days of America. Revival! Revival! Revival!"

Confirming Engle’s new status as an insider with the Trump White House, Engle spoke on a Tuesday call organized by Paula White’s National Faith Advisory Board, where he prayed as a lead-in to House Speaker Mike Johnson, who Engle said God had chosen.
