  • Drenda Kessee says that "a person that wants to burn the [American] flag is really rebellious ... And the scripture says that the sin of rebellion is as the sin of witchcraft": "That should make us think twice before we do rebellious acts."
  • Finally, the Conservative Action Project declares that "the American right is facing an existential and anti-American threat from those who think violence is an appropriate response to political disagreement" and is calling on "Congress, the White House, and all liberty-minded people to use all available resources to investigate, defund, dismantle, and where necessary, prosecute the networks responsible for funding and promoting terrorism against American citizens."

Having once been considered a somewhat scholarly religious-right commentator and author, Metaxas became increasingly radical during the Obama administration and eventually developed into a full-blown conspiracy theorist during the Trump era. A die-hard Trump cultist, Metaxas’ message has grown increasingly dire with every passing election, as he warns incessantly that America is sliding into modern-day Nazism, thanks to the Democrats and the degenerates who vote for them.
