Shane Vaughn Ties Obama And Russia To Noah's Flood And 'The Watchers'

For the last week, journalists, commentators, and editorials have repeatedly and systematically debunked the Trump's administration's claims that high-level Obama administration officials engaged in a "treasonous conspiracy" to manufacture intelligence about Russia's involvement in the 2016 election to harm President Donald Trump.

Of course, that has not stopped Trump supporters from going completely off the deep end by insisting that Obama and others in his administration are responsible for "the single greatest political scandal in all of American history, maybe even world history."

Never one to be outdone, MAGA pastor and unabashed Trump cultist Shane Vaughn seized upon the Trump administration's conspiracy theory during a recent episode of his podcast to uncork his own wildly supernatural theory that Obama's presidency itself was a plot by "fallen angels" known as "The Watchers" to destroy humanity.

"The fallen angels, they were known in days of old as 'The Watchers,'" Vaughn said. "And the Bible tells us that when Yahweh flooded the Earth, he arrested those angels in the year of Noah's flood. And why did he do that? Because those angels had so fundamentally transformed society that the Bible says that the thoughts of men became so wicked continually because of these Watchers, because of their offspring, and so God took them in Genesis Chapter 6 and literally arrested them and stopped them from corrupting mankind."

"What they had done to mankind was horrible," Vaughn continued. "They had mankind sleeping with animals, bestiality, homosexuality. They had corrupted mankind so deeply that God literally had to arrest their influence from the Earth. But yet the Bible tells us that before Yahshua [Jesus] returns that once again it will be on the Earth just like it was in the days of Noah. Well, the only way it could be just like it was, just as evil as it was in the days of Noah, is if those Watchers are on the Earth to influence mankind to that level of evilness."

"These angels were to be held away from mankind for 70 generations," Vaughn claimed. "If you count from the flood date forward, their judgment was to end after 70 generations when they would be released back on the Earth to once again deprave mankind and turn them into mere beast again."

"Well, when you do the calculations, the year of their release was the year 2008, the very year that Barack Obama arose," Vaughn declared. "A man who brought with him not just policy shifts but spiritual perversion and spiritual inversion, turning all right-side things upside down. It's almost as if when Barack Obama rose, all the restraints fell off of American society. All of the taboos, all of the restraint, everything just sort of fell off from mankind when these fallen ones were loosed again."

For the record, contrary to Vaugh's assertions, the story he told does not appear in Genesis 6; it actually comes out of the Book of Enoch, an ancient apocalyptic religious text that is not part of the Bible.
