The pro-Trump prayer warriors at Intercessors for America were urged Tuesday to pray that God would “destroy the evil behind Trump Derangement Syndrome for the good of America and Your Kingdom.”
“The gates of hell are warring against” Trump, declared IFA prayer leader Joyce Swingle in a blog post promoted in the network’s email newsletter, which promoted plans by Trump and religious-right leaders to “rededicate” America to God at a May 17 event as part of the America 250 celebrations.
“When praying about TDS, the midterm elections, the rededication, and God’s agenda through President Trump, ask the Holy Spirit to reveal the demons at work,” Swingle wrote.

Swingle singled out Christians who voted against Trump, saying that TDS had driven them to “align with evil.”
As Right Wing Watch has noted, Intercessors for America is relentless in its pro-Trump propagandizing. IFA founder Dave Kubal is a close associate of White House Faith Director Paula White, who has repeatedly denounced Trump’s political opponents as demonic.
