The Connecticut Republican Party called for the impeachment of Justice Ketanji Brown Jackson in a fundraising email sent to right-wing activists on Monday that carried the clickbait subject line, “The Supreme Court could be in SHAMBLES after this scandal.”

What is the supposed scandal?

According to the Connecticut Republican State Central Committee, Jackson’s nomination to the Supreme Court was “unconstitutional” because “Joe Biden likely had no clue who she was!”

“President Trump just declared all of Joe Biden’s Autopen orders NULL & VOID,” screams the email, referring to a Trump executive order issued last November.

The email, which urged people to sign a petition calling on Justice Jackson to be impeached IMMEDIATELY, called her a threat to the Constitution.

What is this dire threat? "She can't define what a WOMAN is," said the email. "She cheered at pro illegal immigration speeches at the GRAMMY'S."

The CT GOP email also made the false and inflammatory claim that “she HATES law-enforcement officers.”

For the record, Jackson’s 2022 nomination was endorsed by the Fraternal Order of Police, the International Association of Chiefs of Police, and 63 top law enforcement officials. Her brother and two uncles had careers in law enforcement
