Washington, DC – People For the American Way this week released a series of ads in New Jersey and Virginia aimed at driving voter turnout in the states. The ads encourage voters to vote for:
- Mikie Sherrill for New Jersey Governor
- Mussab Ali for Mayor of Jersey City, New Jersey
- Stephanie Morales for Portsmouth, Virginia, Commonwealth’s Attorney
- Jay Jones for Virginia Attorney General
The ads illustrate the Democratic candidates’ focus on countering Donald Trump’s agenda and encouraging voter turnout by Black voters aged 18-45. The ads will run on streaming services and social media in the target cities and states from October 29 until the election.
