Washington, DC – People For the American Way Foundation, along with artist Shepard Fairey, debuted a new mural in Richmond, Virginia, which includes the phrases “Leadership for the many, not for the money” and “Vote!” The mural is part of People For Foundation’s ongoing nonpartisan civic engagement efforts to inspire voting in Virginia and around the country.
“This uplifting artwork inspires us to believe that each of us, by casting our votes, can be leaders in these troubling times,” said People For the American Way Foundation President Svante Myrick. "This is the message we need at this time in history. When the challenges seem overwhelming, Shepard Fairey once again inspires hope for progress and delivers an important reminder that we, the people, are the driving force behind democracy.”
The mural can be seen at 3101 W Cary St in Richmond, Virginia.
